The Hunter Mountain’s Oktoberfest features authentic German and German-American entertainment in the beauty of the northern Catskills in autumn. Our modern celebration of the harvest features a farmers market, plenty of vendors, free crafts and pumpkin painting for the kids, and much more. Originally formed as an acoustic trio in 1993, Hair Of The Dog has become one of the world’s foremost Celtic rock bands. Based in Upstate New York, Hair Of The Dog was voted Best Band by the readers of the Albany Times Union and Metroland Magazine.
Join us for Gavin’s 7th Annual Guinness Festival and enjoy the non-stop Irish entertainment! We are featuring Hair of the Dog on Friday. Donal O’Shaughnessy, Canny Brothers, Jameson Revenge, Celtic Cross Band, Derek Warfield & the Wolftones, Narrowbacks, and Jimmy Walsh on Saturday. Then, Tommy Flynn’s New York Showband on Sunday. We also have more relaxing activities on Sunday, such as: Irish Trivia, Arts & Crafts time, Bingo, Horse Racing Game, Bonfire by fire pit with a marshmallow roast.

Donal O’Shaughnessy plies his vocal, instrumental, joke-telling and yarn-spinning talents all over the Northeast. He is a self taught musician playing guitar, fiddle, keyboards, pipe organ, bodhran and mandolin. He is best known as a performer of Irish music and ballads.
