Things to Do at Gavin’s
Twenty acres with a stream, a waterfall and nature trails — plus a heated pool, lawn games and something planned every summer night.
What can you do at Gavin’s? Swim in the heated outdoor pool, play cornhole, bocce, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball and shuffleboard, hike the nature trail to the waterfall, and join nightly summer activities — movie night, trivia, karaoke, BBQs, outdoor concerts and live Irish music in the pub.

Workshops & weekends
Package weekends add crafts, Halloween trivia, scone-baking and apple-pie workshops, cocktail workshops and afternoon tea. Ask about Irish soda-bread demos and Irish dance on festival weekends.
Off the property
Our Saratoga Race Track motorcoach trips run on select midweeks. Golf, horseback riding and Zoom Flume are all within minutes — see East Durham & the Irish Alps and day trips.

Activity questions
What is there to do at Gavin’s?
A heated outdoor pool and Pool Bar, playground, basketball, volleyball, bocce, horseshoes, cornhole, shuffleboard and board games, a nature trail to our waterfall, plus nightly live music and a summer evening program.
Is the pool heated?
Yes. The outdoor pool is heated and open from Memorial Day weekend through the fall.
Are there activities for kids?
All summer, and especially during Kids Rule Week in August — movie nights, tournaments, karaoke, a magic show and the rock-climbing wall.
