Can you get married at Gavin’s? Yes. Gavin’s hosts destination wedding weekends in East Durham, NY with lodging in 60 rooms, catering from the inn’s kitchen, rehearsal dinners, Sunday brunch and live Irish music. May, June, September and October weekends are the most popular.

- Rehearsal dinner Friday in the dining room or Tea Room
- Ceremony on the lawn with a Catskill mountain backdrop — with the Tea Room or dining room ready as a rain plan
- Reception in the dining room, the Tea Room or a tented lawn (up to about 120 indoors; larger parties under a tent)
- Pub after-party with live Irish music
- Sunday brunch to send everyone home happy
- On-site lodging for your guests, from standard rooms to poolside suites

When to say I do
May weekends are perfect for weddings and bachelor or bachelorette getaways; June brings the heated pool; September and October bring foliage. October weekends book first — the first weekend of October 2026 was a wedding.

Wedding questions
How many guests can Gavin’s host for a wedding?
With 60 guest rooms, your guests can stay on site. Ceremonies on the lawn seat up to about 150 guests, the dining room hosts receptions of up to about 120, and a tented lawn reception can accommodate larger parties. Email Bernadette for exact numbers for your date.
Can we book the whole inn?
Whole-inn wedding weekends are possible on select dates. Ask Bernadette about availability for 2027 and 2028.
Who caters?
The inn’s own kitchen — the same team that cooks three meals a day for our guests.
What are the best months for a wedding?
May, June, September and October weekends. October books early (the first October weekend of 2026 was a wedding).
