What’s on at Gavin’s? The 2026 season wraps with Halloween (Oct 30–31, open to the public) and three November package weekends. 2027 brings the 50th East Durham Irish Festival, Kids Week (Aug 8–13), Gavinstock and the 20th Guinness Fest (Oct 8–11).

October 2026
- Halloween Weekend — Gavin's Pub 2026 Finale
Our last two public nights of the 2026 season. Arrive between 7 and 8 PM for 50% off your first drink. Live Irish music from Ireland the Band with Dave McGrath & Frank Kelly, a Halloween party with a prize costume contest at 9:30 PM, Sean & Mary behind the bar Friday and Kathleen & Andrew on Saturday. Staying over? The two-night all-inclusive package (Oct 30–Nov 1) adds cider & donuts, a Halloween craft and trivia, and adult trick-or-treating.

December 2026
- Last day to order the Christmas Irish Box (shipping)
Holiday homemade Irish bread, brown bread, six variety scones, local jam and a Christmas ornament, shipped Priority Mail Monday–Thursday. Order by December 15 to ship, or by December 19 for pickup at the inn.

- East Durham St. Patrick's Parade — Jack Gavin, Grand Marshal
Jack Gavin — co-founder and first director of the East Durham Irish Festival — is honored as Grand Marshal of the 2027 East Durham St. Patrick's Parade. Celebrate the whole month at Gavin's with live music and St. Patrick's packages.

May 2027
- 50th Anniversary East Durham Irish Festival + Memorial Weekend at Gavin's
Fifty years of the festival Jack Gavin helped found in 1977 with the East Durham Vacationland Association. Stay at Gavin's for the weekend and come back to live music in the pub each night.

July 2027
- Catskills Irish Arts Week
A week of traditional Irish music, song and dance classes and sessions in East Durham. Gavin's offers lodging with three meals a day for students and session players.

- East Durham Feis
Irish step dance competition in East Durham. Dancers' families stay at Gavin's for meals included and an easy drive to the feis grounds.
